Joining Cloughfern Credit Union has never been easier
To become a member simply call into either our Cloughfern or Ballyclare branch and complete a membership application form, bringing with you the following documents
- Photo ID – Passport or Drivers Licence or Electoral Card
- Proof of address – Utility Bill, Bank Statement or Government Letter
- National Insurance Number
*Please note that we cannot open an account without these documents.
Its £4 to open an Adult Account and £2 to open a Junior Account.

Cloughfern Community Credit is owned by our members. Only members get access to our services. Only members get to share in the benefits. Cloughfern Credit Union promotes regular saving and responsible lending, saving what you can and borrowing what you can comfortably afford to pay back. When you join Cloughfern Community Credit Union you become a member, not a customer.
General Information
Account limits on Adult and Christmas saver accounts is £15,000 and Junior accounts £10,000.

Members can take out flexible loans 3 months after joining, and repay at tailor-made schedules. All our loans are fully insured (for free), against disability or death.

Depending on income, most years we are able to pay an attractive dividend on Members Savings.

You can be assured of a professional service from Credit Union at all times. And you do not pay a transaction fee for saving with us, or borrowing money.
Pay by Standing Order
Arrange a standing order payment from your bank and be sure of regular payments to your Credit Union account. We will send you a statement showing all transactions.
